PM Marković hosts supreme courts presidents and general prosecutors: rule of law and effective judiciary are foundation for stability and progress of society

Prime Minister Duško Marković hosted in Cetinje presidents of supreme courts and prosecutors at the end of a several-day international conference held in Montenegro.
The Prime Minister thanked the guests for their arrival in Montenegro, assessing that their participation in the conference would contribute to the further improvement of the work of the judiciary in our country.
Speaking about Montenegro's strategic policies and achievements over the past thirteen years of renewed independence, PM Markovic assessed that the judicial system has been upgraded in accordance with the highest legal norms and that our country today provides full legal security to its citizens, tourists and investors.
"Montenegro notes an impressive development with one of the highest growth rates in Europe over the past two years. The basis of this development are the rule of law and effective and professional judiciary as the basic preconditions for the stability and progress of every society," Prime Minister Duško Marković said and added that the quality of work of the judiciary and the prosecution has significantly contributed to the successes of our country.
President of the Supreme Court Vesna Medenica and Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stanković attended the meeting.
