Defence Minister Bošković: Montenegro attains all goals, completes successfully NATO integration phase

Podgorica, Montenegro (11 july 2019) -- "Montenegro has successfully completed NATO integration phase and attained all its goals, and in the future it will maintain its declared capabilities independently," Minister of Defence Predrag Bošković told the press following toady's Cabinet session.

The official date for completing this extremely important phase is 23 July, when Brigadier General Dragutin Dakicć and Allied Command Transformation (ACT) Commander General André Lanata will sign the Declaration on the completion of Montenegro's integration into NATO, Minister Bošković announced.

At today's session, the Government adopted the Information on Montenegro's integration into NATO and accepted the text of the Declaration on the completion of Montenegro's NATO integration process. The declaration is a formal act, stating that the process of Montenegro's integration into NATO has been completed.
