PM Marković: Eternal glory to freedom fighters, modern Montenegro built on foundations of anti-fascism

Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated on behalf of the Government and in his own name the locals of Donja Seoca on the restoration of the monument dedicated to the fallen fighters in the People's Liberation War.

"By restoring a monument that has been partly supported by the Government, your region makes a significant contribution to this year's celebration of the Statehood Day and the Uprising Day. Our generation today has the opportunity to build modern Montenegro on the foundations of freedom and anti-fascism, as civilisation values. Therefore, I welcome the activities to preserve the heritage of the People's Liberation War, in which the Crmnica people played a remarkable role. The names of our fighters who have laid down their lives for the sake of the freedom of the Montenegrin people will permanently testify to the greatness of their deeds," the Prime Minister's congratulation letter reads.
