Public Works Administration signs contracts on implementing projects in Mojkovac, Gusinje, Kolašin worth EUR 1.15 million

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 July 2019) -- The Government of Montenegro has provided EUR 1.15 million for the implementation of projects that are planned by the capital budget in municipalities of Mojkovac, Gusinje and Kolašin. The Public Works Administration signed three new contracts relating to these projects.
The contracts relate to the construction of supporting facilities on the promenade at the former waste heap in Mojkovac in order to create conditions for the continuation of this location valorisation for sports and recreational purposes. The contractor, Nikšić - based company "Temko", to obliged to build a park with trails on the part of the promenade within 70 days from the day of introduction to work. The agreed value of the works is around EUR 154.000.
A 63-meter long walkway over the Podgorica – Bijelo Polje road is under construction, and it will link the sport and recreation area with the city centre, thus contributing to greater safety of the traffic participants.
The Public Works Administration and Danilovgrad - based company "Eurozoks" signed a contract on the continuation of the construction of the city market in Gusinje. Investment within the second phase of works amounts to nearly EUR 480.000 and the agreed deadline for the works completion is 120 days from the day of introducing contractors to work.
This project's implementation will enable the citizens of Gusinje to get a modern building area of 763 square metres, which will meet all the technical and sanitary standards. The first phase, which ended late last year, completed the rough construction and roofing, while all the remaining works in order to open the object are planned to be performed at the final phase of construction.
The second phase of the reconstruction of the Kolašin 1450 – Kolašin 1600 road was also contracted within the company "Eurozoks", which will build 80 metres long retaining walls beside this road. The value of this project is nearly half a million euros and the contract specifies that the deadline for the completion of works should be 90 days from the day of introducing contractors to work.
