DPM Simović: Armed Forces on Sinjajevina are doing only what can be of benefit to citizens

My alleged statement that the military training ground will do irreparable damage to Sinjajevina is just one of a number of examples of fake news we witness on the media scene.
I approach every topic and conversation with each person carefully and responsibly. Everyone who has been in contact with me knows this, and I am in contact with numerous citizens throughout Montenegro every day.
In particular, I spoke with the cattle breeders on Sinjajevina, including the cattle breeders from Bjelopavlići, in 2002 when we discussed, agreed and jointly implemented a project to reconstruct the road from Štitarica to the Ružica church.
Then, we together were looking forward to a successful implementation.
I can now state with satisfaction that the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro are making significant efforts in the maintenance and reconstruction of numerous mountain roads on Sinjajevina and other mountains.
The Government, through numerous other programmes builds and reconstructs numerous roads in rural areas across the country in order to meet the needs and initiatives of the locals.
Therefore, the Armed Forces on Sinajevina are doing only what can be of benefit to the citizens and contributes to the construction of infrastructure to bring mountain closer not only to the locals but to all citizens of Montenegro and tourists who would like to visit Sinjajevina and many other beautiful mountains.
