The Housing Commission of the Government of Montenegro has published a list of officials who have been granted apartments or loans under favorable conditions in the term of office of Prime Minister Duško Marković.

Last month, Prime Minister Marković promised, during the Prime Minister's Questions in the Assembly, to publish data on officials' apartments and loans, which were marked with a classification level (secret) according to the decision of the Housing Commission.

The Prime Minister then said that it was not a question of granting free apartments without grounds, without order and regulations, but on the basis of the Decision according to which civil servants, not just officials, have the opportunity to receive privileges when resolving housing issues.

PM Marković said that he did not consider housing issues as a privilege but as an employee's need, saying that over 2,400 employees in the education, health, security and public administration had also resolved the housing problem in recent years.

The list of officials with apartments and loans data is available on the portal of the Government of Montenegro - sub-portal of the Secretariat-General of the Government, in the section Free access to information.
