Montenegro and Azerbaijan committed to strengthening cooperation in the field of security

Montenegro and Azerbaijan will improve co-operation in the fight against organized crime and terrorism, as well as in other areas of common interest, Interior Minister Mevludin Nuhodžić and Azerbaijani Ambassador Eldar Hasanov said at the meeting.
Minister Nuhodžić expressed satisfaction with the quality bilateral relations between the two countries. In this regard, he expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro to further strengthen cooperation in the fight against all forms of crime, exchange of information related to migration, as well as in the field of emergency management.
The Minister stressed that Montenegro, in view of the positive experiences with the Azerbaijani companies, is open for further linking through the realization of investment projects, as well as for strengthening friendship and strengthening economic and cultural ties.
Ambassador Hasanov congratulated Montenegro on the progress made. He particularly praised the efforts made by the Government of Montenegro and the Ministry of the Interior on the preservation of security and stability in Montenegro, and positively assessed the constructive role of our country in the region.

It was jointly noted that in the partnership relations between Montenegro and Azerbaijan, there is room for further intensification of police cooperation.
