Privatisation and Capital Projects Council proposes to Government to include sale of shares of "Kotor - project" A.D. in 2019 Privatisation Plan

Podgorica, Montenegro (9 September 2019) -- The Privatisation and Capital Projects Council decided today, at its 18th session, chaired by President of the Council, Prime Minister Duško Marković, to propose to the Government an amendment to the 2019 Privatisation Plan. Based on the Initiative of the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro, it is proposed that this year's Privatisation Plan should include the sale of 16.65%, or 748 shares of the joint stock company "Kotor - projekt" A.D. Kotor, owned by the Investment and Development Fund.
The Report of Podgorica-based Audit Company "Omega" on the performed audit of the enforcement of the Contract on sale and investment - part of the factory "Gornji Ibar" - Rožaje, location 1A, and the Contract on the lease of part of the factory "Gornji Ibar" AD - Rožaje, location 1B, for the reporting period from 10 October 2015 to 31 December 2018.
The Council proposed to the Government to adopt the Report on the work of the Privatisation and Capital Projects Council, with the Report on the Implementation of the Privatisation Plan for the period January - June 2019, and the Report on the implementation of the Conclusions of the Privatisation and Capital Projects Council for the period January - June 2019. The reports outline the key activities of the Council, the results of the implementation of the Privatisation Plan, as well as statistics on the implementation of the Council's conclusions in the first half of this year. It was stated that 88% of the Council's conclusions were realised, that 10% of the conclusions are underway, and that 2% of the conclusions were not realised.
Today's session also considered and adopted the Information on the status of realisation of the public calls for other projects under the responsibility of the Tender Commission for the valorisation of tourism locations. The Council tasked the Tender Commission to undertake activities to launch a tender for the long-term lease of the location "Mrkovi - Bijela Stijena", Municiplaity of Herceg Novi, and to analyse, in cooperation with legal and financial advisers, the including of the projects "Donja Arza", Municipality of Herceg Novi, and "Uvala Masline – Rt Odrač, Buša", Municipality of Bar, in the 2020 Privatisation Plan.
The Council adopted the Auction Commission's Information on the implementation of the Council's Conclusion No. 01-207 of 13 June 2019, which gives details about the auction sale of the Piva Hotel in Plužine.
