"Our soldiers have the opportunity to train in a truly equipped camp, such as in Latvia, where they can gain significant experience and later share experience with their colleagues. We will continue to be present in NATO's Enhanced Presence in the East in Latvia and jointly raise the capabilities and qualities of our troops and each individual," Bošković noted.

"We have one of the largest military training grounds in the region and we intend to build new ones for military exercises, as this is required for at least two purposes; to know how to defend your country and also train with others. We give Montenegrin soldiers the opportunity to use our country for various types of training and I believe that there will be a time when you will have good training grounds, where our soldiers will be able to come and train because we do not have mountains, and we need these common capabilities," Pabriks added.

Pabriks invited the Montenegrin Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of Montenegro to use the facilities of the Baltic Defence College, as well as the NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence in Riga.

"We all know that our residents live in a time of fake news, so it is very difficult to determine what is true and what is false. We also know that there are certain countries that use the media as means of propaganda rather than what the media should be. In order to understand this, help is needed. This is what NATO is doing at the Centre of Excellence and we also hope that we can work more together."

The two ministers agreed that both countries would continue to support the Alliance's efforts to preserve peace and stability, and that restoring and unifying shared values is the path to projecting long-term stability.
