During his visit to the Municipality of Kotor, Minister Bogdanović met with President of the Municipality Željko Aprcović and discussed a number of topics - ranging from art programmes in the city to current issues concerning Kotor's status on the UNESCO List of Protected Heritage.

Today's meeting discussed activities related to the status of Kotor as part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Kotor has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. The end of the year will be very important, when a decision will be made in Bogotá to enlist the Bokelj Navy on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List.

The old Kotor prison will soon be reconstructed. Minister Bogdanović stressed that the works worth EUR 1.3 million will be financed through a cross-border IPA project with the Ministry of Culture as a leading partner. Upon completion of the reconstruction, the facility will operate a regional centre for creative industries - hub, which will be intended for creators from Kotor.
