Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović visited today infrastructure projects implemented in Mojkovac this year, with the support of the Government of Montenegro.
"Everything we have agreed in communication with the local self-government, and on the basis of discussions in the field with the locals, we have implemented. Even more than that," Simović said and expressed satisfaction with the results.
The Deputy Prime Minister assessed that such attitude of the Government towards Mojkovac and other responsible local self-governments is an indicator of determination to develop the North and improve the quality of life of citizens in the area and create preconditions for faster development of agriculture and entrepreneurship.
DPM Simović awarded 11 new vehicles to representatives of agribusiness centres from five municipalities - Šavnik, Žabljak, Pljevlja, Mojkovac and Petnjica, as well as the offices of the Department for Counseling in Plant and Livestock Production in Mojkovac. The vehicles were procured through MIDAS 2 project implemented by the Government in cooperation with the World Bank.
