FM Darmanović attends Group of Friends of Mediation meeting in New York: Peaceful settlement of disputes is significant mean of inclusion

Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović attended earlier today the ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Mediation, which was held on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly. 

The meeting emphasised the significance of new technologies for peace and peaceful settlement of disputes as a means of inclusion. The participants agreed that the inclusion of all segments of society has great significance for mediation success, especially women, youth and civil society. 

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Darmanović spoke with Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman. The two officials noted high - quality relations between the two countries that are strengthened by intensive political dialogue and NATO alliance. Both sides expressed satisfaction that the enlargement policy will be one of the Croatian priorities, during its presidency of the Council of the EU, which begins in January 2020. 

Below the day it was planned the participation of the Montenegrin Chief of Diplomacy on the ministerial meeting on the subject of multilateralism organised by Germany and France, followed by a working launch of the Foreign Ministers of the Member States and observers of the US – Adriatic Charter (A5), as well as the signing of agreements in the areas of culture and education with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu
