Press release: Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic meets Director of United Nations Development Fund for Women Osnat Lubrani

Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic met with Director of the UN Development Fund for Women Ms Osnat Lubrani today.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction that this was another area in which cooperation with relevant institutions of the United Nations was being established, which would help Montenegro adopt standards befitting a modern democratic society. The issue of gender equality, the Prime Minister pointed out, would take its due place in the new Constitution of the Republic of Montenegro.

Both sides expressed confidence in the success of the regional conference on gender equality, which would take place in Budva in the following days.

The meeting was attended by Chief of the Governments Office for Gender Equality Nada Drobnjak and the Fund regional coordinator Nana Magdaditoru.
