PM Marković meets with leadership of Rožaje: Projects worth EUR 25 million will provide better quality of life

Capital projects in Rožaje, worth about EUR 25 million, will provide better quality of life for citizens but also conditions for stronger business start-up in this municipality, Prime Minister Duško Marković said at a meeting with representatives of Rožaje municipality.
PM Marković used the meeting with President of the Municipality of Rožaje Ejup Nurković, President of the Municipal Assembly Almir Avdić and Secretary for Spatial Planning Rusmir Džudžević to congratulate on the upcoming Municipality Day and express satisfaction with the good dynamics of implementation of the started projects - water supply system, city market, Rožaje - Štedim road, kindergarten, landscaping of the Ibar River and construction of city streets.
The officials stated the significance of the construction of the Hajla - Štedim ski centre and estimated that it would be a generator of Rožaje's economic development.
"We want to thank the Government for its commitment to the North. The Government is contributing to the North and is strongly focused on its development," the President of the Municipal Assembly stressed.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed ways to further strengthen the stability of local public finances, streamline public administration and increase its efficiency, as well as other prerequisites important for attracting investment and job creation.
