PM Marković hosts inaugural visit by Russian Ambassador Maslennikov

Podgorica, Montenegro (30 September 2019) – Prime Minister Duško Marković hosted today inaugural visit by the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation Vladislav Maslennikov.

Prime Minister Marković wished the Ambassador a successful term of office and emphasised Montenegro's results and progress in all areas, both domestically and internationally. PM Marković particularly addressed the good dynamics in the European integration agenda of Montenegro.

Furthermore, the two officials discussed economic issues with an emphasis on enhancing tourism cooperation, which was recognised as an area of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Marković stressed that bilateral relations should be characterised by full mutual respect in the interests of the two countries and their citizens.
