Podgorica, Montenegro (11 October 2019) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković met earlier today with the management and leading engineers of the CRBC Montenegro, which is building a priority section of the Bar - Boljare motorway, and representatives of all state bodies involved in the implementation of this project, to mark the junction of the span structure of the Moračica Bridge - the largest and the most complex single facility of the motorway's priority section.

Congratulating the contractor and all the stakeholders involved in the successful completion of the works, the Prime Minister emphasised the need to continue the work at a pace and quality that implies compliance with the agreed deadlines and standards.

“I am satisfied with the dynamics of the works and the degree of realisation. We are now entering a new phase, which requires more attention, concentration and efficiency,” PM Marković told to CRBC Montnegro's representatives, headed by Hei Shiqiang, the motorway's construction project manager.

The Prime Minister highlighted the need to continue day-to-day cooperation of all stakeholders involved in the project, noting that such an approach is required by the fact that the construction of the first motorway in the country is the most complex construction project in the history of Montenegro.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurković, as well as the heads of the Monteput, Supervision, State Commission for the Review of Technical Documentation and the State Commission for Technical Inspection.
