Government allocates EUR 910 thousand for new projects in North

The Government of Montenegro will allocate around EUR 910 thousand for the implementation of four new projects in Bijelo Polje, Pljevlja and Mojkovac, based on contract signed yesterday by the Public Works Administration with the most favourable bidders.

As part of the continuation of the valorisation project of the Đalovića Cave, additional works have been contracted on the Bistrica - Podvrh Monastery road, worth approximately EUR 380,000. Podgorica-based Crnagoraput has committed to complete the works within 45 days of being commissioned.

A total of EUR 4.2 million has been invested so far in the construction of about 5.2 kilometers of access road to the location where the cable car's starting station for Đalovića Cave will be. Prime Minister Duško Marković recently visited the construction site and said that he was very pleased with the dynamics and quality of the works, and that he expected this road to be one of the modern roads in Montenegro. 

Nikšić-based company Ening has been selected for the reconstruction of the Pliješ drinking water treatment plant in Pljevlja, for which close to EUR 280 thousand will be invested from the capital budget. The deadline for completion is three months from the introduction of Ening into the business.

The most favourable bidder for the construction of the missing septic sewage system in Mojkovac and the renovation of the facility for the needs of the Ski Resorts of Montenegro was the Bijelo Polje-based consortium Konstruktor grupa.

The contract with the Public Works Administration foresees the construction of a sewage system worth EUR 118 thousand within 75 days of introduction of contractor into the business.

The facility for the needs of the Ski Resorts of Montenegro will be renovated within three months of introduction of contractor into the business, and the contracted value of the works is EUR 135 thousand.
