Budva, Montenegro (24 October 2019) -- Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System Milutin Simović noted that today and in the coming period, green economy and sustainable development should be key topics for Montenegro and the entire region.
“Green economy and sustainable development must be priority issues both in the region and in Montenegro. In order to be eternal, Montenegro must be sustainable and green,” the Deputy Prime Minister Simović said in Budva earlier today at a panel discussion titled “Green Economy and Sustainable Development”, which took place within the conference “Synergy - Key to the Region's Success”, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro and the Western Balkans Chamber Investment Forum.
DPM Simović pointed out that the topic of "green economy and sustainable development" has become very important in the Montenegrin society. "This is being discussed at all levels, and certainly the efforts and activities of the Government of Montenegro have contributed to it," he underscored.
