World Trade organization presented the new online portal „Rules of Origin Facilitator”

The World Trade Organization (WTO) presented the new online portal https://findrulesoforigin.org, which is related to the „Rules of Origin Facilitator” and where all stakeholders can get information about the rules of origin and the documents required for export to the WTO member states.
The data base was established based on the notifications submitted by the WTO member states. During the next phase of upgrading the portal content, the Secretariat will try to encompass all data related to the non-preferential treatment. Nevertheless, considering that it is not obligatory to notify of such data, there is no reliable system for their verification.
