More than 400 Montenegrin elementary students demonstrate proficiency in European languages

435 Montenegrin elementary school pupils have competed on the European languages competition. 15 best pupils will have the opportunity to meet with the ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the Russian Federation in Podgorica and win valuable awards.
General Secretariat of the Government - Sector for Informing the Public about the EU and the EU Accession Proccess, on the occasion of 26th September, European Day of Languages, organised an online competition for 8th and 9th grade Montenegrin elementary school pupils who study English, French, Italian, Russian and German languages.
The most successful online contestants were:
• Marija Goranović, Elementary School "Savo Pejanović", VIII grade, Podgorica (English language)
• Sandra Božović, Elementary School "Dušan Obradović", 8th grade, Žabljak (English language)
• Anja Mitrić, Elementary School, "Olga Golović", IX grade, Nikšić (English language)
• Vladana Lalatović, Elementary School "Olga Golović", IX grade, Nikšić (French language)
• Nejla Murić, Elementary School "25. Maj", grade IX, Rožaje, (French language)
• Alma Pepić, Primary School "25. Maj", grade IX, Rožaje, (French language)
• Katarina Lakić, Primary School "Štampar Makarije ", IX grade, Podgorica (Italian language)
• Vuk Vlahović, Primary School "Štampar Makarije", IX grade, Podgorica (Italian language)
• Tara Orlandić, Elementary School "Pavle Rovinski", VIII grade, Podgorica (Italian language)
• Marat Levchenko, Elementary Sool "KSI Montenegro", IX grade, Tivat (German language)
• Amina Dervishi, Primary School "Maršal Tito", Grade IX, Ulcinj (German language)
• Maša Otović, Primary School "Štampar Makarije", IX grade, Podgorica (German language)
• Helena Stanković, Elementary School "Pavle Rovinski", IX grade, Podgorica (Russian language)
• Lena Grujičić, Elementary School "Pavle Rovinski", IX grade, Podgorica (Russian language)
• Anastasija Vojinović, Primary School "Marko Miljanov", IX grade, Bijelo Polje (Russian language)
The students of Montenegrin elementary schools showed much interest in the competition, and the top three pupils from all categories were awarded. They will have the opportunity to visit the Embassies of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the Russian Federation in Podgorica and, through discussions with the ambassadors, test their knowledge of foreign languages and learn more about the culture and history of the country studying languages at school.
