More than 400 Montenegrin elementary students demonstrate proficiency in European languages

435 Montenegrin elementary school pupils have competed on the European languages competition. 15 best pupils will have the opportunity to meet with the ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the Russian Federation in Podgorica and win valuable awards.

General Secretariat of the Government - Sector for Informing the Public about the EU and the EU Accession Proccess, on the occasion of 26th September, European Day of Languages, organised an online competition for 8th and 9th grade Montenegrin elementary school pupils who study English, French, Italian, Russian and German languages.

The most successful online contestants were:

The students of Montenegrin elementary schools showed much interest in the competition, and the top three pupils from all categories were awarded. They will have the opportunity to visit the Embassies of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the Russian Federation in Podgorica and, through discussions with the ambassadors, test their knowledge of foreign languages and learn more about the culture and history of the country studying languages at school.
