Minister Hrapović and health trade unions sign agreement on resolving housing needs of healthcare workers

Podgorica, Montenegro (4 November 2019) -- Minister of Health Kenan Hrapović and representatives of the Trade Unions of Health of Montenegro, Ljiljana Krivokapić and Vladimir Pavićević, signed an agreement on providing funds for addressing the housing needs of health care workers.
The agreement stipulates that the Government, in the period from 2021 to 202, will provide the funds in the amount of 1,500,000 euros to the Housing Cooperative of Health Workers of Montenegro “Zdravstvo”.
Minister Hrapović said that in this way the Government of Montenegro continues to pursue a responsible state policy in the health sector.
"In parallel to the negotiations the Government is continuing these days in order to increase salaries of employees in the health care system, this is another indicator of the concern of the Government and the Ministry of Health about health workers and their standard," he pointed out.
