Minister Sekulić in Ohrid: Montenegro will contemplate initiative of three WB countries, we are leader in EU integration and regional cooperation

Today in Ohrid, Montenegro had the opportunity to be thoroughly acquainted for the first time with the initiative of the leaders of North Macedonia, Serbia and Albania on better integration of the region and that initiative will be contemplated by our Government and our country in terms of benefits for its citizens and economy and of course from the aspect of better European integration – Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulić, who represented Montenegro at the meeting, said after the meeting.

Following the meeting, Minister Sekulić said that Montenegro's only goal in this regard is EU integration and that as such there is no alternative.

"Montenegro is a leader in European integration, a country that has no open issues with any country in the region and has met the largest number of recommendations under the Berlin initiative. In doing so, we have shown that we fundamentally believe in regional cohesion, in the economic cohesion of our countries," Minister Sekulić concluded.
