Nuhodžić to take part in EU-Western Balkans ministerial forum on Justice and Home Affairs

Minister of the Interior Mevludin Nuhodžić will participate tomorrow in the EU-Western Balkans ministerial forum on Justice and Home Affairs in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, which will take place on 18 and 19 November 2019. The forum is being held under Finland's presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the support of North Macedonia, at the invitation of Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Finland Maria Ohisalo and Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Oliver Spasovski.
The EU-Western Balkans ministerial forum on Justice and Home Affairs has been established as a joint platform for cooperation between the European Union and the Western Balkan countries, with the aim of discussing current issues and challenges relevant to the field of the rule of law. The topics that the Interior Ministers will discuss during the Forum will be border management, illegal migration, the fight against organised crime and the suppression of terrorism and violent extremism.
During the Forum, Minister of the Interior of Montenegro Mevludin Nuhodžić and European Commissioner for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship Dimitris Avramopoulos will sign an Agreement between Montenegro and the European Commission on the implementation of the Joint Action Plan on Combating Terrorism in the Western Balkans.
