Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated Pljevlja Municipality Day by saying that the Government is strongly committed to the needs of Pljevlja citizens, as evidenced by the fact that the Government has allocated EUR one hundred million for the city.

"Pljevlja is a city with a long and rich tradition, recognisable for its cultural values, coexistence and tolerance. With dynamic economic and social progress, our country has strengthened its position within the international community, and in parallel has become a promising Western Balkan country. Today, Pljevlja represents a significant value and development center in the north of Montenegro," the Prime Ministers's congratulatory letter sent to President of the Municipality of Pljevlja Igor Golubović and President of the Municipal Assembly Dragiša Sokić reads.

The Prime Minister further stated that investments worth more than EUR three billion are being realised in our country today, that more than 30,000 new jobs have been created.

"We have allocated a significant part of the newly created economic value of EUR 100 million through a number of projects - both for the rehabilitation of Pljevlja's resources and the environment, as well as through investments in the future, creating new and high-quality jobs, and a healthy living environment," the Prime Minister's letter reads.
