PM Marković congratulates International Children's Day

Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated children on the International Children's Day.

"We want the benefits of the Government policies, expressed through the stability and development of Montenegro’s society, to be most strongly felt by the youngest category of our citizens. Investing in their first steps, we provide long - term and sustainable development of the country. Dear children, happy holiday to you," Prime Minister Marković stressed.

On 20 November 1959, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child and in 1989 the Convention of the Rights of the Child, which was ratified by 193 countries, including Montenegro. International Children's Day has been celebrated worldwide on 20 November since 1989.
