Minister Nuhodžić meets with representatives of Montenegrin Diaspora in Skopje

Minister of the Interior Mevludin Nuhodžić said in Skopje during a meeting with Boris Popivoda, President of the Montenegrin community and representatives of the diaspora in the Republic of North Macedonia, that our emigrants make a significant contribution to their home country in business, cultural, artistic and other activities and that cooperation with the diaspora is high on the Government's list of priorities.

Minister Nuhodžić expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the representatives of the associations operating in Skopje and expressed gratitude for their commitment to further affirmation and strengthening of Montenegro's reputation. On that occasion, Nuhodžić spoke about the economic, development and infrastructure progress that the Government of Montenegro made in the previous period.

Representatives of the emigrant associations expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the Minister of the Interior and thanked for the continued support provided by the Government of Montenegro to the diaspora in North Macedonia.

"After the restoration of independence, we want to further strengthen ties and improve Montenegro's cooperation with the diaspora. The door of the Ministry of the Interior will always be open to you," Minister Nuhodžić concluded.
