Prequalification applications for concession of Montenegro Airports opened

Pursuant to Article 21 and 38 of the Law on Concessions (Official Gazette of Montenegro 8/09), on 11 October 2019, the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs announced the Public invitation for the submission of prequalification applications for the concession of Montenegro Airports, in accordance with Article 38 of the Law on Concessions and the Decree on the Closer Method of Conducting the Public Tender Procedure in the Open and Two-Stage Concession Procedure (Official Gazette of Montenegro 67/09). The deadline for submission of the prequalification applications, specified by the aforementioned Public invitation, expired today, i.e. 25 November 2019 at 12 pm. The opening of the applications started at 1 pm at the premises of the Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs.
The opening of the prequalification applications was attended by members of the Tender Commission, chaired by Osman Nurković, Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Commission.
The opening of the applications was also attended by authorised representatives of all bidders, as well as representatives of the IFC.
According to the Public invitation for the submission of prequalification applications for the concession of Montenegro Airports, 7 (seven) applications of potential bidders have been submitted, as follows:
1) Cengiz & Copenhagen Airports Consortium, Turkey, Denmark
2) Incheon International Airport Corporation, South Korea
3) GMR, India
4) Groupe ADP Consorcium-TAV, France, Turkey
5) Corporacion America Airports, Luxembourg
6) Limak Holding, Turkey
7) Consortium DAA International-Bouygues Batiment International-Marguerite-TIIC, Ireland, France and Luxembourg
Therefore, 7 application from 4 companies and 3 consortia from 7 countries were submitted.
In accordance with the Public invitation and the Prequalification documentation, all Prequalification applications have been submitted in a timely manner.
The Tender Commission, in the presence of authorised representatives of potential Bidders, in accordance with the Prequalification documentation, opened the Prequalification applications, which established that all the submitted applications were duly marked.
The opening of the prequalification applications is completed at 3:30 pm.
