Reconstruction of stadium stand in Nikšić begins soon

The Public Works Administration agreed earlier today on the implementation of the project to the reconstruction of the west stand of Sutjeska stadium in Nikšić, for which the Government and the Football Association will allocate almost EUR 4, 5 million.

Nišić – based "Roaming Montenegro" company, which was the most favourable bidder in the public procurement procedure, committed itself to complete the works within 12 months from the date of introduction to work.

Out of the total agreed value, the Government will allocate EUR 3, 3 million in Budgets for 2020, 2021 and 2022, while the Football Association of Montenegro will provide the rest of funding.

The reconstructed facility will have a ground floor, three floors and a total gross area, together with the 3, 200 - seat spectator stand, will be about to 6. 200 square meters.

The implementation of this project will create conditions for improving the quality of work of the "Sutjeska" football club, particularly when it comes to the younger categories and fulfilling the European standards while organising official matches.

The projects of modernisation of the sports infrastructure in the capital budget of the Government are at the top priorities and the total value of investment in this area, which the Public Works Administration is implementing currently, amounts to EUR 20 million.
