PM Marković meets with Canadian PM Trudeau and Latvian President Levits ahead of NATO Summit

Prime Minister Duško Marković met with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and President of Latvia Egils Levits at the start of the NATO Summit.
During the meeting between the Prime Ministers of Montenegro and Canada, the emphasis was placed on excellent bilateral relations between the two countries and quality cooperation within NATO.
Prime Minister Marković thanked Prime Minister Trudeau for the support Canada provides to Montenegro as well as for its alliance within Permanent Military Presence on NATO's Eastern Flank, where Montenegrin soldiers are under the command of Canadian forces.
The meeting between the Montenegrin Prime Minister and the Latvian President discussed the Latvia's support for the European integration of Montenegro and the countries of the Western Balkans.
Marković and Levits said that the exchange of experience in countering hybrid threats is extremely important for Montenegro and Latvia, as well as further cooperation within NATO.
The Latvian president appreciates Montenegro's contribution to the Alliance's common goals as our country participates with 30 troops within allied forces in Latvia.
