PM Marković congratulates citizens of Danilovgrad on Municipality Day: Joint efforts of Government and local leadership resulted in progress of Danilovgrad

On behalf of the Government and in his own name, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the citizens of Danilovgrad, members of the Municipal Assembly and local leadership on the Municipality Day – 9 December, assessing that the joint efforts of the Government and local government resulted in the progress of Danilovgrad, which today is an investment-friendly environment and administratively regulated environment aimed at spurring development and improving quality of life of citizens.
"The Government is further empowering development of Danilovgrad through the construction of capital and social infrastructure. In the construction of the boulevard from Podgorica and the reconstruction of the old Podgorica - Danilovgrad road, we will invest close to EUR 30 million, which will bring a new quality of life to the citizens of Bjelopavlići. The unemployment rate in the Danilovgrad municipality is noticeably below the national average, and new investments started these days open the prospect of new employment and a higher standard of living," the Prime Minister noted in his congratulatory letter to President of the Municipality of Danilovgrad Zorica Kovačević and President of the Municipal Assembly Zoran Bošković.
PM Marković stressed that such development of Danilovgrad further complements the positive results and trends of the Montenegrin economy and that the Government and the leadership of this municipality will continue to be committed to development and progress.
