PM Marković to award seventeen doctoral scholarships to students on Wednesday

Prime Minister Duško Marković will officially award seventeen doctoral scholarships to students on Wednesday, 11 December.

At a ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Science at Villa Gorica beginning at 12:00, Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović will award grants for innovative projects, for strategic partnerships in the implementation of a pre-accelerator programme for innovative startups and for two new centers of excellence. Symbolic awards to the most successful scientists as well as the most successful patent/innovative solution will be awarded at the ceremony.

By awarding almost EUR 3.5 million for doctoral scholarships, grants for innovative projects and strategic partnerships in the implementation of a pre-accelerator programme for innovative startups, the Ministry of Science wants to highlight the exceptional innovative potential of individuals and stimulate their further development and participation in international science, innovation and technology development programmes.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION FOR THE MEDIA:

Journalists and cameramen who have annual accreditation issued by the Government of Montenegro can enter the Villa Gorica by using the accreditation card, along with ID card. Journalists and cameramen who have no annual accreditation issued by the Government of Montenegro must seek the issuance of the daily accreditation by sending a letter on official letterhead of the media signed by a person in charge at: dragana.vukotic@mna.gov.me.

Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photographs and video recording of the ceremony.
