PM Marković, Ambassador Bingulac: There is potential for strengthening economic cooperation between Montenegro and Serbia

Montenegro and Serbia have very good bilateral relations, but there is room for more dynamic economic cooperation, especially in the field of energy, construction and tourism, it was assessed during the farewell visit by Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Bingulac hosted by Prime Minister Duško Marković.

PM Marković pointed out that there are numerous and attractive opportunities for Serbian investors in Montenegro, and the two officials agreed that the submarine cable between Montenegro and Italy provides enormous opportunities for development and integration of the energy sector in the region.

Furthermore, the meeting discussed European integrations and stated that both countries were moving forward in the negotiations, and that the European perspective of Montenegro and Serbia, as well as of the whole region, must be indisputable because it brings special benefits to our citizens.
