Montenegro’s Third Forestry Forum on "Reform on forest management system" to be held

In the organization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Montenegro’s Third Forestry Forum will be held on Monday, 16 December in Podgorica.
The Forum topic will be "Reform on the forest management system in Montenegro".

Representatives of state institutions, local self – governments, economy and representatives of professional institutions, international organisations and the civil sector, will also attend the meeting.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milutin Simović will open the Forum.

The meeting foresees three panel discussions on issues significant to the current the reform of the forestry sector: "Proposal on system – organizational personnel and economic frameworks for establishing a new organizational model in forest management", "The FSC certification of forests in Montenegro" and "Planning, monitoring and protection of forests".

Forum will be held in Verde Hotel, starting at 10:00.
