Director Iks has also showed the Prime Minister and a Montenegrin delegation, other valuable documents concerning the relations between two states.

"I personally want to thank you and the Holy See for your readiness to make Vatican archives available to Montenegrin historians and thus contribute to a better research quality on our rich history," Prime Minister Marković stated.

The work on the creating of the Vatican Montenegrin Monument edition, on which the Montenegrin Ministry of Culture with the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts is being working on, was assessed as particularly significant. The edition will be released in February next year and will be presented in both, Montenegro and the Vatican.

Director Iks presented content and the operation of the Vatican Apostolic Archive, which keeps millions of documents, and informed about the started digitization process, which provides the electronic version of over one million documents, thus ensuring a better quality, availability and a better protection of historical documents.
