Government allocates EUR 410,000 for new Public Works Administration projects

The Government of Montenegro will allocate about EUR 410 thousand for the implementation of four projects, for which the Public Works Administration has signed contracts with the most favourable bidders in the public procurement procedure.

In order to fully valorise the ski centre Kolašin 1600, a second phase of construction of a parking lot, worth about EUR 70 thousand, was contracted. The works were entrusted to Crnagoraput through the tender procedure, and the deadline for completion is 20 days from the introduction of contractor into business.

At the same location, reconstruction of the access road is ongoing, from the ski centre Kolašin 1450 to Kolašin 1600. As part of the second phase, the Public Works Administration and Crnagoraput have contracted works worth nearly EUR 70,000, which should be completed within 20 days of the introduction of the contractor into business.

New works are planned on the Bjelasica, where the construction of the road from Jasikovac to the new ski centre Cmiljača is ongoing. It is a demanding construction job, which requires special engineering solutions in order to increase the safety of road users. Additional works worth about EUR 230 thousand will be carried out by the company "Toškovići", and the deadline is 30 days from the introduction into business.

The design house “Hydrogis System” has been contracted to develop the main project for regulation of the Popča river bed and sewer network in the municipality of Petnjica. The worth of this work is almost EUR 40 thousand, with the designer committed to finish the job within three months of signing the contract. Upon receiving a positive opinion from the auditor, the Public Works Administration will issue a call for the selection of contractors.
