Biotechnical Faculty awarded an ICGEB-CRP research grant

The research project of Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Montenegro entitled “Next generation diagnostics and characterization for emerging viruses and virus-like agents of pome and stone fruits in Montenegro” is one of the positively evaluated projects under the ICGEB-CRP Research Grants 2019 of the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB). The project implementation, under the leadership of Dr. Jelena Zindović, will contribute to widening the competencies of the research team to include the scientifically current topics in the field of next generation diagnostics and characterization for emerging viruses and virus-like agents of pome and stone fruits in Montenegro. The partners in the project are Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Zagreb. The project will be funded in the period of three years (2020-2022).
