Recipients of annual awards for science and innovation achievements selected

Based on the proposal of the Awards Commission, Minister of Science Dr. Sanja Damjanović rendered a Decision on presenting the awards for science and innovation achievements in 2019.

The awardees are:

- SLAVICA TOMOVIĆ, MSc, graduate teaching assistant at the University of Montenegro – Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica – for the most successful scientist up to the age of 30, who received the award in the amount of EUR 2,000.00;

- PROF. DAVID KALAJ, full professor at the University of Montenegro – Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Podgorica – for the most successful scientist over the age of 30, who received the award in the amount of EUR 2,000.00; and

- DARKO IVANOVIĆ, inventor – for inventor/innovator of the most successful patent or innovative solution, who received the award in the amount of EUR 2,000.00.

This year, the Awards Commission faced a challenging task to propose the awardees, especially in the category of the most successful scientist over the age of 30, for which 14 high-quality applications have been submitted.

The official ceremony in which the annual awards for science and innovation achievements in 2019 will be presented, as part of the Annual Ceremony of the Ministry of Science, will take place on Wednesday, 11 December 2019, at Vila Gorica.
