First session of ISS Council to be held on Friday, 20 December
The Innovation and Smart Specialisation (ISS), chaired by the President of the Council, Prime Minister Duško Marković, will hold its first session on Friday, 20 December, starting at 14:00.
The tasks of the Council, established on 1 August this year, are coordinating the key activities of the state administration bodies and other competent bodies and institutions charged with implementing the identified priorities and measures of the Smart Specialization Strategy of Montenegro (2019-2024) and proposing a national structure for its implementation, planning of the budget and donor funding, identifying investment priorities and implementing measures defined by strategic development documents in the area of innovation, analysing current regulations and proposing their amendment to create favourable business environment for development and promotion of innovation and innovation entrepreneurship and public promotion of the innovation and smart specialization significance for the overall socio-economic development of Montenegro and improving the quality of life for citizens.
