PM Marković wishes Happy Hanukkah: Jewish community has enriched Montenegro's multicultural and multireligious society

Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the Jews in Montenegro on the Hanukkah, wishing them to spend the holiday in health and pleasure, surrounded by dear people.

"The Jewish community has enriched Montenegro's multicultural and multireligious society in a way that contributes to tolerance and understanding, with a clear contribution to the strategic and democratic goals of our country. On the other hand, the Government is committed to respecting and understanding religious freedoms and needs, creating the conditions for an environment of community and coexistence. Therefore, this holiday is an opportunity to reiterate the need for dialogue and respect as the cornerstone of our common prosperity," the Prime Minister's congratulatory message to President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Đorđe Raičević and Chief Rabbi of Montenegro Ari Edelkop reads. 

The Prime Minister congratulated the Chief Rabbi on his recent appointment.
