PM Marković congratulates FK Iskra on lifecycle

Podgorica, Montenegro (25 December 2019) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković, congratulated, on behalf of the Government and in his own name, Mayor of Danilovgrad Zorica Kovacević and FK Iskra President Blažo Šaranović on the 100th anniversary of the club's existence.
"For a whole century, football has been present in Danilovgrad and Bjelopavlići and with different ups and downs, the Iskra football club has become a symbol of this city. With the advent of the first leather ball, the sports history of this region began to be written, since 1919. It continues today, with pride first on Slog and then Iskra, the sports collectives among the first in Montenegro," the congratulatory letter of the Prime Minister reads.
Prime Minister Marković is convinced that better times and new successes are coming for Iskra, Montenegrin football and sports in general.
"The Government and the Ministry of Sports and Youth will continue to be committed to the overall development of sports and athletes," reads the congratulatory letter of Prime Minister Marković.
