Government improves rural infrastructure

Podgorica, Montenegro (28 December 2019) -- In cooperation with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and local governments, in the past two years, the Government built 55 sections of asphalt rural roads in seven Montenegrin municipalities - Nikšić, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Mojkovać, Petnjica, Žabljak and Šavnik in a total length of about 39km and the value over EUR 2,6 million.
In the area of water supply, 26 projects have been implemented, with a total value of almost EUR one million.
Over 17, 000 users benefit directly from these investments, it was estimated.
