Podgorica, Montenegro (31 December 2019) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated the citizens on New Year, noting that 2020 could be our most successful year, which should be entered with optimism and without encouraging differences among us.

In the new year, I wish everyone personal and family happiness, and to our Montenegro stability and overall progress. To achieve these goals, we need even more of understanding and tolerance - to reach a greater degree of unity and harmony; but also more work and responsibility - in order to live better and more quality," Prime Minister Duško Marković stated.

The Prime Minister noted that the Government would thus fulfil the promise from the beginning of its term, that the goal was to raise the living standard of every family and every individual, as well as solidarity with economically and socially vulnerable citizens.

"Therefore, I wish us to enter the new year with an optimism, not to encourage or highlight differences among us, but to find points that connect us or at least bring us closer to one another. This is a common interest of all of us, and above all of the young generations, according to which we should all have the same obligation: to leave Montenegro stable and developed, without divisions and mortgages of the past," Prime Minister Duško Marković said in a New Year's message.

On that behalf, the Montenegrin Prime Minister reads in his congratulatory letter, I wish all citizens of Montenegro, in the country and in the Diaspora, to spend New Year's holidays in harmony and love, with their loved ones.
