Nuhodžić and Stefanović: Montenegro and Serbia talk to overcome tensions

Berlin, Germany (31 January 2020) -- On the sidelines of a meeting in Berlin, Minister of the Interior Mevludin Nuhodžić met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia Nebojša Stefanović.

Montenegro and Serbia have different views on certain issues, but also it is necessary to discuss, in order to find a solution, aimed at interests and further boost of the overall relations between the two countries, the two official agreed, referring to the tension increase in the previous period.

Ministers Stefanović and Nuhodžić emphasized that the two police have established quality cooperation in tackling common security challenges, especially in the fight against organized crime and intensively cooperation among police services for security and stability is in the interest of both, Montenegro and Serbia.
