PM Marković, US Representative Palmer: Montenegro has ability and potential to tackle issues in any situation

London, United Kingdom (24 February 2020) -- Prime Minister Duško Marković talked earlier today with US Special Representative of the State Department for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer.

The Prime Minister thanked the United States and the Special Representative Palmer personally for our partnership and the support, which the United States continuously provide to Montenegro. 

Montenegro is having a capacity and the potential to tackle issues in any situation, including even in this one, arisen from the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion, it was noted. 

The US diplomat praised efforts of the Government towards dialogue with the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, as well as the Government's dialogue within the Alliance for Europe.
