Expert teams, appointed by Government and Episcopal Council of SPC in Montenegro, to begin discussion on Law on Freedom of Religion on Wednesday

The expert teams appointed by the Government of Montenegro and the Episcopal Council of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) in Montenegro will begin discussion on Wednesday, 11 March 2020, starting at 10:00 am, within the dialogue on the Law on Freedom of Religion or Belief and the Legal Status of Religious Communities. 

The Government expert team consists of Zoran Pažin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice; Prof. Dr. Nebojša Vučinić, Professor at the Faculty of Law; Prof. Dr. Aneta Spaić, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dragoljub Bulatović, Chief of the Office of the Prime Minister; Nikola Martinović, Attorney and Srđan Spaić, law graduate.

The Church's expert team consists of Archpriest Dr. Stavrophor Velibor Džomić, Coordinator of the Legal Council of the Metropolinate of Montenegro and the Littoral and members of the Legal Council of the Metropolitanate and Eparchy of Budimljansko-Nikšićka namely Attorney Dragan Soć, Attorney Zoran Lazarević, Dr. Vladimir Leposavić and Attorney Damjan Ćulafić.

Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photographs and video recording from the beginning of the meeting.
