Assistant Director and epidemiologist of Institute for Public Health Dr. Senad Begić appeals to citizens of Montenegro to Stay Home!

Podgorica, Montenegro (15 March 2020) -- Dear citizens of Montenegro, dear friends, neighbours, relatives, 

We have had a significant opportunity to understand, through the mistakes and suffer of others, how dangerous a new coronavirus is. 

Many states and many nations have not been provided with this opportunity at all.

Now that we have it, it is up to all of us to do every effort we can, to prevent the spread of this virus. 

The math is clear - one person makes about 90 contacts during the day. We are all equally susceptible to this virus. The moment the virus gets in, and we do nothing to prevent it from spreading, we are all at risk. 

So please, comply with the prevention measures and stay home.
