Azmont Investments Company, which is building one of the largest tourist complexes in the region in Montenegro, has donated EUR 20.000 to the National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases.
"As a socially responsible company that is employing almost 2.000 people in Montenegro, we take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude and emphasise that we, as a company and as individuals are fully available for the all necessary assistance. "The manner in which the Government has managed and continues to manage the emerging health crisis is one of the most striking examples in the world, when it comes to responsibility towards society," the company letter reads.
Chief Executive Officer of Azmont Investments Rashad Aliyev hopes that the donation will provide additional support to the already enviable efforts of the state, jointly endeavouring to prevent a national crisis.
The Azmont noted that the COVID-19 virus pandemic affects tens of thousands of people worldwide, primarily at the level of medical care and medical supplies.
"The pandemic already has a significant impact on the most vulnerable populations, especially the elderly in all European countries. Montenegro has persisted for the longest time in the fight against the virus, without a single diagnosed case until very recently, which is the result of the highest level of responsibility of the Government of Montenegro and the precautionary measures it has taken in time," the letter reads.
The National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases expresses gratitude to the Azmont Investments.
