Minister Bogdanović: EUR 500,000 to support cultural sector in current situation

"The Government of Montenegro has adopted a set of emergency measures for the cultural sector, which includes emergency support of EUR 500,000 for the creative field, that is, for cultural workers who are most affected by the current situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic," Minister of Culture Aleksandar Bogdanović said.

As he stressed, the Ministry of Culture will start implementing the planned measures next week, by announcing competition for cultural workers who are most affected by the new situation due to the fact that public events are now canceled, then by increasing the budget for competitions intended for projects in the fields of creative industries and cinematography, as well as by launching a platform Online Art market.
