On behalf of the Government and in his own name, Prime Minister Duško Marković congratulated President of the Jewish Community of Montenegro Đorđe Raičević and citizens of the Jewish religion on the Passover, holiday commemorating the Hebrews' liberation from slavery.

"Symbolically, this year, almost all countries of the world, including Montenegro, are trying to cope with an epidemic that threatens what is most valuable.

I am convinced that by timely and decisive action we have managed to keep the situation in Montenegro under control. The wisdom and courage to face the greatest threat to humanity so far lies in the faith for good health and a better tomorrow of every citizen and every family.

Therefore, in the unity which characterises Montenegro's multinational and multireligious society, we must find the strength to come out of this battle with minimal consequences," the Prime Minister's congratulatory letter reads.
