Government pays contributions to agricultural insured for six months

Podgorica, Montenegro (8 May 2020) -- The Government passed the decision, at its session of 24 April 2020, on paying all contributions to 528 agricultural insured persons who regularly pay contributions, in a total amount of EUR 163.099,20 through the Special programme to support agriculture and fisheries with a view to mitigate the consequences of the COVID - 19 epidemic.

In this way, each insured person receives EUR 308.9, namely EUR 185.34 in the respect of contributions that the insured should pay in person, as well as EUR 123.56 which, in line with the Decree of the Government, is paid from the budget of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. 

The objective of this support is to help farmers to preserve their regular status of an insured, with the aim of exercising their right to a pension.
